About The Position

The Associate, Enterprise Architecture influences others regarding technologies, solutions, processes, and best practices. This role provides and implements technology solution guidance for existing problems within the Enterprise Architecture function. It also recommends and participates in the analysis, evaluation, and development of enterprise strategic and operating plans to ensure EA objectives align with long-term business goals. The incumbent assists with implementing new policies, strategies, and procedures to support IT and cross-functional initiatives, interfacing across education, research, and administrative areas as a visionary for future projects. The role involves understanding and advocating for IT strategies, researching the current IT environment to identify deficiencies and recommend improvements, and supporting governance activities for Enterprise Architecture compliance. The Associate operates in compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulations, recommending best practices in EA/IT policies and processes to business lines, and providing IT training to stakeholders. Building and managing client relationships and mentoring junior staff are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Computer Management, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, System Analysis or a equivalent field. - Required.
5+ Years Information Technology or a related field. - Required.
Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture practices and processes required.
Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business environment.
Ability to adjust to new developments/changing circumstances.
Ability to influence others.
Ability to lead and mentor junior level professionals.
Ability to communicate at a technical, business, or executive level.

Ability to understand business requirements and translate into architectural deliverables.

Nice To Haves

Master's Degree: Computer Management, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, System Analysis or a equivalent field. - Preferred.
Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
Experience in Microsoft Office products.
