This role will focus on establishing and sustaining best-in-class ECAD tools and practices across the organization by developing and managing various global libraries and templates/formats. The individual will also help to provide functional ECAD support, resolve application-related issues, and improve ECAD usage through proofs of concept (POCs) for advanced tool functionalities and modules. The Associate ECAD Engineer will help to develop ECAD SOPs and job aids, lead CAD and PDM upgrades from the engineering requirements perspective and serve as the primary engineering point of contact for ECAD solution providers to report, track, and drive resolution of tool-related issues and enhancements. This position requires effective collaboration with multiple internal and external organizations and will actively support Vertiv’s digital platforms, including PTC Windchill, PTC CREO and CREO Schematics ECAD platforms, and Oracle PDM/PLM, which are critical for business execution.
