Associate, Electronic Communications - International Client Services (Mandarin and/or Cantonese)
About The Position
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities, including a language premium for qualified professionals. At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together. Bring your passion for helping people and your drive to make a difference. Our service team plays a vital role in guiding clients toward their goals and delivering experiences that truly matter. You don’t need a finance background; what sets you apart is your commitment to serving others and your eagerness to learn and grow. As an International Services ECG Associate, you will take inbound chats and secure messages from both international (non-US residents) and domestic clients with all a full range of service and trading needs. You will work on a collaborative, growing team in a fast-paced environment to assist with trading stocks, ETFs, mutual funds and options in addition to general account servicing inquiries. The relationships that you create and uphold will have a direct impact as you aid our clients to “Own Their Tomorrow.” In International Client Services, you will support clients whose financial needs span languages, cultures, and markets. You will communicate through phone, chat, and email, explain investment and account information clearly, identify client needs, and use sound judgment to help clients achieve their objectives while building trust and rapport. We’ll support your growth from day one. Through paid training in the Schwab Service Academy, you’ll gain the knowledge and confidence to earn your Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses, opening doors to a meaningful career in financial services. If you’re ready to make an impact and build a future you’re proud of, this is where your journey begins.
