About The Position

Paradigm Education Solutions is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Editor to join our Editorial team. This role is responsible for providing developmental and project management support to the successful, profitable, and timely publication of all Paradigm products. The Associate Editor serves as a central communication hub - coordinating with Product Owners, marketing, authors, reviewers, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure alignment, clarity, and forward momentum on every project.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented - produces thorough, accurate, and polished work consistently, and catches errors others miss
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and complex timelines
  • Takes ownership of their work and holds themselves accountable to doing what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it
  • Proficient in Word, Outlook, Adobe Professional, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or similar)
  • Communicates proactively across departments and serves as a trusted point of contact

  • Experience in an editorial role is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Managing multiple publishing projects simultaneously, ensuring all deliverables are completed on schedule and free of errors.
  • Acting as the primary project management liaison between Paradigm's editorial team and Publishing Services, GRL, and IT - tracking milestones, managing transmittals, and proactively communicating schedule changes to all stakeholders.
  • Communicating clearly and professionally with authors and subject matter experts to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials, set expectations on deliverables, and follow up diligently on outstanding items.
  • Thoroughly editing and proofing copy, verifying photo resolution, and enforcing consistent nomenclature across all materials.
  • Independently developing, executing, and tracking product surveys and reviews to inform development strategies - recruiting reviewers, synopsizing feedback, and highlighting actionable insights for product owners and authors.
  • Assisting Product Owners in meeting marketing needs and communicating product status updates to the marketing team.
