About The Position

The Division of Infectious Diseases is recruiting faculty members at the University of Colorado School of Medicine (Anschutz Medical Campus) who will have primary duties in clinical infectious diseases with specific focus on transplant infectious diseases (TID). Responsibilities encompass inpatient and outpatient clinical consultative services, participation in education and mentoring, and research and scholarship in the field. This physician will play an important role in the Division of Infectious Diseases by advancing its missions in medical service, research, and teaching and these missions benefit all Coloradans and citizens of surrounding states who come to the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Anschutz Medical Campus for care. Applicants for these positions must have completed an accredited Infectious Diseases fellowship and be ABIM board eligible or board certified in Infectious Diseases and must have completed formal TID training or TID fellowship or have equivalent work experience. Applicants should have demonstrated aptitude for scholarly achievement. Experience/potential in basic, translational or clinical research is desirable.

Requirements

  • MD or MD-PhD degree
  • Completion of ID fellowship at accredited program
  • Completion of a TID fellowship or demonstrated equivalent clinical experience
  • 7+ years of experience for Associate Professor Rank
  • 10+ years of experience for Professor Rank
