About The Position

AngioDynamics is seeking an Associate District Sales Manager to join their team. This role is responsible for growing sales and market share in an assigned territory by promoting, selling, and servicing CV-A products within the Vascular Interventions and Endovascular space. The position involves developing new accounts, training medical staff on products and procedures, and driving the adoption of a new laser atherectomy technology. The Auryon-laser technology is highlighted as a differentiated medical device capable of delivering short, high-powered pulsed-laser energy at a 355nm wavelength without compromising fiber optic cables. It addresses risks of perforation and embolization, and is indicated for In Stent Restenosis (ISR) and various PAD lesion types. The technology is described as safe, fast, and effective for treating lesions from soft plaque to severely calcified.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Level of Degree in the related field of study strongly preferred
  • Equivalent work related experience acceptable in lieu of degree
  • 0-3 years of demonstrated experience in sales or sales/marketing combined
  • Ability to work independently and drive results
  • Office based lab (OBL) experience preferred
  • Track record of success in prior roles
  • Must be able to meet hospital vendor credentialing requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, Oracle OBI and Salesforce.com
  • Expectational interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
  • Ability to build strong inclusive relationships with customers and internal partners
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, including ability to communicate broad and strategic messages to different types of audiences

Responsibilities

  • Maximize profit by achieving sales revenue targets and growing market share for a specified territory
  • Build meaningful partnerships with KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) and other high-volume Interventional Cardiologist, Vascular Surgeon and Interventional Radiologists in target accounts
  • Develop and maintain key physician and hospital contracts to achieve corporate objectives while servicing the customer to meet their needs
  • Increase sales by developing new users and driving adoption and continued use of Auryon-laser in target accounts
  • Keep up to date on all product, clinical and procedural knowledge as it relates to the products being sold within a specific territory
  • Ability to communicate broad and strategic messages to different types of audiences (includes leading and delivering sales presentations to customers)
  • Effectively manage assigned territory through sales activities such as territory analysis, prospects, growing and maintaining existing accounts, and trials/evaluations.
  • Ability to explain features and benefits using patient outcomes between CV-A products and competitive products
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism at all times when conveying information that is accurate to both external customers and internally with Company employees
  • Support Regional sales strategy by working with the territory manager (if applicable) to execute and achieve business plans
  • Utilize appropriate resources that tailor the sales approach to meet customer needs
  • Anticipate and handle objections and explore perspectives and tactfully address them
  • Submit weekly expense report when necessary and adheres to expense policy and procedures
  • Consistently document daily, weekly and monthly activities utilizing company provided resources
  • Regularly track and report progress against business plan and redirect efforts as necessary
  • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to products and therapies. This is achieved by coordinating: one on one sessions, in-service education programs, seminars and/or outside symposiums
  • Document and provide written solutions to recurring problems, including input for variation of training tools and provisions of training
  • Identify and solve complex or unusual customer issues in a timely manner
  • Complete sales/clinical training programs
  • May perform other duties as assigned
  • Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports the Quality Policy, Quality System and the appropriate regulations for the area they support. Ensure all employees are trained to do their work and their training is documented
