About The Position

Guidehouse is seeking an Associate Director to lead and support large-scale Federal consulting engagements. This role involves driving operational excellence and organizational transformation initiatives for Federal clients, partnering with key agencies like USDA, GSA, DOL, USAC, and DOC. The position will deliver complex engagements in areas such as managed services and outsourcing, loan servicing, financial management and accounting, and enterprise Program Management Office (PMO) operations. This is a hybrid position that may require up to 3-5 days on-site at the Client's office and is open to candidates residing within 50 miles of Washington DC.

Requirements

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university.
  • Seven (7+) plus years of post-graduation consulting experience in federal, state, or local transportation consulting/research.
  • Proven experience leading and contributing to large-scale Federal consulting engagements involving teams of 25 to 200+ professionals.
  • Strong expertise in operations management and organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Candidates who currently reside or will reside within 50 miles of Washington DC.

  • Experience supporting managed services and outsourcing engagements.
  • Knowledge of loan servicing operations and related business processes.
  • Background in financial management, accounting, and related consulting initiatives.
  • Experience leading or supporting enterprise Program Management Office (PMO) functions.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.
  • Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.

  • Drive operational excellence and organizational transformation initiatives for Federal clients.
  • Partner with Federal Civilian Agencies, including key accounts such as USDA, GSA, DOL, USAC, and DOC.
  • Deliver complex engagements across areas such as managed services and outsourcing, loan servicing, financial management and accounting, and enterprise Program Management Office (PMO) operations.
