Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine The Associate Director, TLL Field Leader will serve as the regional field execution leader accountable for delivering KOL engagement and peer-to-peer education across CAPLYTA® indications through a team of Thought Leader Liaisons. This role is responsible for translating national KOL strategy into disciplined field execution, ensuring high-quality, compliant delivery of customer engagement initiatives, and generating actionable field insights to inform Brand and GPD leadership. This position will lead a team of approximately eight direct reports and serve as a critical link between strategy and execution, ensuring consistent implementation across geographies.

Requirements

  • BA/BS required; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant pharmaceutical or biotech experience, including sales, marketing, or field-based roles
  • Minimum of 5 years of people management experience with demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop direct reports
  • Experience engaging with KOLs and executing peer-to-peer or medical education programs
  • Proven ability to collaborate across matrixed organizations and drive aligned execution
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • A Valid Driver’s License issued in the United States

  • Neuroscience, psychiatry, or CNS therapeutic area experience
  • Experience within TLL, MSL, or field-based engagement models

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of TLLs to deliver KOL engagement, peer-to-peer education, and faculty development plans aligned to brand objectives
  • Translate national KOL engagement strategy into clear, actionable regional execution plans and ensure consistent implementation across markets
  • Oversee execution of speaker programs, peer-to-peer engagements, and faculty initiatives to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance
  • Drive executional excellence across all field-based activities, including program delivery, customer engagement, and adherence to compliance standards
  • Manage regional budgets and resource allocation to support efficient and effective program execution
  • Ensure strict adherence to legal, regulatory, and compliance guidelines across all customer-facing activities
  • Oversee execution of advisory boards and ensure structured and actionable insight capture to inform cross-functional partners
  • Consolidate and synthesize field insights, including customer feedback and market dynamics, into clear and actionable recommendations
  • Partner closely with Brand Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Sales Leadership to ensure alignment on execution priorities and coordinated delivery
  • Reinforce consistent field execution standards and elevate overall team capability through coaching, training, and performance management
