This individual contributor role is part of the US Medical Affairs Immunology Clinical Operations and Strategy & Execution Team, supporting one to two therapeutic areas. The role is responsible for driving cross-functional integration of operational activities, coordinating across workgroups, leading process improvement initiatives, issue identification and resolution, problem-solving, contingency planning, and decision-making. Responsibilities include providing reports to leadership, supporting special projects like launch support, Ad Boards, Steering Committees, and process development. The role also manages the research budget for assigned Therapeutic Areas, ensuring minimal budget variance and managing risks. It leads Therapeutic Area Teams in short & long-term strategic planning, portfolio planning, and business planning activities. In partnership with Therapeutic Area Leads, the individual develops the annual business plan and partners with Integrated Evidence Team Leaders on Integrated Evidence Generation Plans. The role provides strategy and execution support for ongoing and new research activities, including Company Sponsored Trials and Interval Safety Reports, and potentially collaborative studies and key alliance partners. A key responsibility is coordinating the creation, revision, and maintenance of project plans (Microsoft Project) and all project-related documentation. As a leader on the Study Team, the individual identifies issues and potential operational hurdles and proposes resolutions in coordination with relevant stakeholders. The role interfaces regularly with internal and external stakeholders and vendors.
