About The Position

The Management Consulting Associate Director in Guidehouse's State and Local Government Practice leads delivery teams on high impact State & Local Government client engagements and drives business development activities. Key activities include: Establishing approaches to gather information from clients regarding client structure, process, technology and culture. Facilitating meetings with client stakeholders to gather information. Managing quality control for project deliverables and work product consistent with Guidehouse quality requirements. Leverage Guidehouse frameworks and other leading practices identify and implement program improvements for clients. Effectively leveraging project resources to accomplish tasks while providing regular feedback and coaching. Driving business development activities including RFP responses, proposal development, and contribute to account planning.

Requirements

  • A minimum of Seven (7) years of relevant experience in the State/Local Health and Human industry.
  • Experience delivering HHS projects, including but not limited to Integrated Eligibility, Child Support, Child Welfare, Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS), and/or Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES).
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with core and emerging technologies such as Cloud, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and enterprise platforms.
  • Proven track record of client solution delivery and achieving impactful technology solutions in the HHS domain.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Government Procurement Expertise: Familiarity with the HHS procurement lifecycle, including experience writing compelling RFP/RFI responses, contract vehicles, and state-specific procurement processes.
  • Must be willing to travel for meetings as needed.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be US citizen Or Permanent resident.
  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP or SAFe Agilist.
  • Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
