Associate Director, S&OP, Systems, Data Analysis & Planning Operations

BridgeBio Pharma
$180,000 - $202,000Remote

About The Position

In 2015, we pioneered a “moneyball for biotech” approach, pooling projects and promising early-stage research from academia together under one financial umbrella to reduce risk and unleash innovation. This model allows science and small teams of experts to lead the way. We build bridges to groundbreaking advancements in rare disease, and develop life-changing medicines for patients with unmet needs as fast as humanly possible. Together we define white space, push boundaries, and empower people to solve problems. If you're someone who defies convention, join us and work alongside some of the most respected minds in the industry. Together, we'll ask "why not?" and help reengineer the future of biopharma. At BridgeBio, we value curiosity and experimentation—including the ethical & thoughtful use of AI to improve clarity, speed, and quality of work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, operations, data science or a related field; 8+ years of progressive supply chain planning experience.
  • Demonstrated ownership of an S&OP process, ideally within a regulated (pharma, biotech, medical device, or CPG) environment.
  • Hands-on expertise configuring and operating ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or comparable).
  • Strong data-analytics capability — comfortable building models and working in AI, SQL and BI tools with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Proven experience with distribution and network modeling to plan end-to-end manufacturing and fulfillment needs
  • Commercial supply chain experience in pharmaceuticals or biotech, including product launch.
  • APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the S&OP cycle end to end — aligning commercial demand, manufacturing supply, inventory and finance into a single consensus plan.
  • Build and maintain integrated supply and distribution models spanning drug substance, drug product and finished-goods distribution, so manufacturing needs are planned from source through the patient.
  • Own configuration, master data and data integrity across our ERP/MRP environment; translate demand forecasts into production plans, replenishment signals and purchase requirements.
  • Develop analytics, dashboards and KPIs for inventory health, capacity utilization, service levels and forecast accuracy — turning raw system data into decisions leadership can act on.
  • Run scenario and what-if planning for launch ramps, demand shifts, supply constraints and network changes, quantifying risk and recommending mitigations.
  • Partner with external and internal partners on production scheduling, capacity commitments and inventory positioning across the distribution network.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy, system utilization and data governance, establishing the processes and controls a scaling commercial portfolio requires.
