About The Position

Join the Restricted Accounting team at New Mexico State University! This position offers an opportunity to contribute to NMSU's mission in a dynamic higher education environment. The Associate Director Restricted Accounting will supervise the Post Award Administration, Systems and Project Management team. This position is responsible for all Post Award research accounting functions and the development/maintenance of electronic systems in support of Post Award Administration. The individual understands the unique processes involved in the overall research effort and has the ability to comprehend the needs of individual researchers to improve the financial sophistication of SPA and build processes to support SPA and the research community.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree + 6 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree + 4 years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Five (5) years of professional experience directly related to the job duties and responsibilities as outlined.
