As an integral member of the Division of Student Affairs, the Associate Director reports to the Director of Residence Life and Student Dining and provides leadership in the development and administration of a comprehensive, preeminent residence life program. This position advances a high-impact residential experience for approximately 600 students across five residence hall communities. The Associate Director has primary responsibility for departmental operations, including housing occupancy management, facilities management, risk management, coordination of summer camps and conferences, and the implementation of short- and long-term departmental projects. The position also cultivates and maintains collaborative partnerships with key university departments, including Athletics, Facilities, Campus Safety and Security, the Dean of Students Office, Student Accounts, Student Engagement and Belonging, and Disability Services. The Associate Director participates in a rotating on-call schedule and serves as a primary responder to student concerns and crises, reported incidents, alleged policy violations, and emergencies affecting the residential community. This is a 12-month, full-time, benefited position. The Associate Director is required to reside on campus and will be provided a semi-furnished, non-taxable residence, including utilities, internet, cable, and a parking pass, as part of the compensation package and in direct support of the operational responsibilities of the position.
