About The Position

Ansell is looking for an Associate Director, Regional Category Management – Single Use, Americas to join our team either Iselin, NJ or Alpharetta, GA! In this position, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping and executing the regional portfolio strategy for Ansell’s Single Use Business Unit across North America and Latin America. You will lead a team of Regional Category Managers and drive profitable growth through strategic portfolio management, product commercialization, pricing strategy, market intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of product, portfolio, category, or marketing management experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex product portfolios and driving commercial growth.
  • Experience within B2B industrial, manufacturing, PPE, safety products, healthcare products, or related industries preferred.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing portfolio profitability and pricing strategy.
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong market and industry awareness.
  • Skilled at influencing stakeholders and cross-functional teams, driving alignment across global and regional organizations.
  • Ability to participate in occasional meetings outside standard business hours to support global collaboration.
  • Willingness to travel throughout North America and Latin America as business needs require.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Regional Category Strategy & Portfolio Management: Own and drive the Americas product portfolio strategy for the Single Use Business Unit across North America and Latin America.
  • Lead and develop a team of Regional Category Managers, fostering high performance and collaboration.
  • Partner closely with global category and brand teams to localize and execute global portfolio strategies.
  • Identify market opportunities, competitive threats, and portfolio optimization initiatives that drive sustainable growth.
  • Manage the complete product lifecycle, including new product introductions, product rationalization, portfolio transfers, and brand/OEM strategies.
  • Consolidate and communicate Voice of Customer (VOC) insights to support innovation, new product development, and portfolio decision.
  • Facilitate successful regional product launches through coordination of pricing, forecasting, inventory planning, sales enablement, marketing support, and system readiness.
  • Drive Commercial Excellence: Partner with sales, customer marketing, and channel partners to maximize portfolio performance and market penetration.
  • Support revenue growth through opportunity development, customer conversions, and strategic account initiatives.
  • Provide product expertise and marketing support for tenders, promotional programs, pricing actions, product changes, technical documentation, and customer communications.
  • Deliver product training and onboarding programs for sales teams.
  • Conduct category reviews and present portfolio strategies, new product launches, and growth initiatives to customers and channel partners.
  • Coordinate localization efforts to meet regional customer and market requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted product expert supporting sales teams, customer service, and key customers.
  • Business Performance & Financial Management: Partner with commercial leadership to support portfolio profitability and overall P&L performance.
  • Analyze sales trends, market share, customer segmentation, and portfolio health to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop and execute regional pricing strategies based on competitive dynamics, customer value perception, and willingness-to-pay analysis.
  • Monitor portfolio financial performance and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Gather and leverage competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions.
  • Deliver portfolio performance reviews and actionable business insights to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) teams to optimize inventory management, minimize aging inventory, and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Manage allocation strategies and customer prioritization during supply constraints.
