As part of a shared services PMO supporting all of Optum Financial, this role will lead and support medium to large-scale projects, as well as smaller programs, to drive business growth and enable new product launches.

Requirements

5+ years of proven program/project management experience
Proven expertise in a fintech organization with knowledge of HBA and commercial payments
Proven experience in fintech, healthcare payment products
Proven stakeholder management experience in leadership and decision-making roles
Proven experience working in a financial organization which is a large multinational company or similar environment
Highly proficient in MS Planner, MS Project, and MS standard application package
Demonstrated solid written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills

Proven experience in fintech, healthcare payment products
Demonstrated knowledge of JIRA product discovery to maintain awareness on product and technology planning/delivery in a scaled agile environment
Demonstrated business acumen, customer facing mindset and/or relevant experience

Responsibilities

Independently lead multiple medium to large level initiatives within Optum Financial across multiple lines of business at the same time. Efforts may include internal/external partner management
Lead or contribute to the development of program or project scope statements, in consultation with applicable stakeholders (e.g., program/project charter, Statement of Work, Business Vision Document)
Ensure alignment and understanding of program/project scope and objectives with the organization's strategic objectives and the Voice of the Customer, in consultation with applicable impacted stakeholders and areas of business
Develop and deliver on all necessary project, communication and IRAAD mitigation plans across project and program level stakeholders in addition to executive leadership when necessary
Work directly with the cross functional teams to ensure delivery of a quality, high value add product (Includes but not limited to cross functional
Drive creation of schedule based on alignment by all impacted business teams and stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery
Manage and deliver on status of projects as well as critical issues/risks, escalating to executive leadership when necessary
