About The Position

The Strategic Initiatives — Pricing & Packaging team is responsible for defining and executing AlphaSense’s global monetization strategy. The team works cross-functionally across Product, Sales, Finance, and Legal to design, launch, and optimize the commercial models that drive AlphaSense’s growth. We are seeking an Associate Director, Pricing & Packaging Strategy to own the global execution of AlphaSense’s pricing and packaging initiatives. This is a high-impact role at the operational heart of our growth strategy - designed for a seasoned leader who can bridge high-level commercial strategy and ground-level execution. You will drive complex, high-stakes pricing programs from conception through global launch, serving as the central cross-functional owner across Product, Sales, Finance, Legal, and Marketing.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of experience in Program Management, Business Operations, or Strategy Consulting, with a proven track record leading large-scale pricing and packaging transformations in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Deep expertise in B2B SaaS pricing and packaging - you understand the nuances of seat-based vs. usage-based models and enterprise discounting frameworks.
  • A data-driven storyteller with advanced modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets and the ability to translate complex data into a strategic narrative for executive decision-making.
  • An exceptional collaborator and influencer - you have a proven ability to build consensus and drive alignment across senior stakeholders in Engineering, Sales, Finance, and beyond.
  • Highly organized and comfortable with ambiguity - you create structure where none exists and drive initiatives to completion despite deep cross-functional dependencies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end program management for mission-critical pricing initiatives - owning the roadmap from initial scoping and fiscal modeling through global rollout and post-launch optimization.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional execution across Product, Sales, Legal, and Finance, ensuring technical readiness and commercial consistency for every pricing change.
  • Design and institutionalize a global governance framework for reviewing and approving new pricing models, discount structures, and packaging tests.
  • Partner with leadership on market research, competitive benchmarking, and data modeling; define the KPIs that measure the success of new price books and multi-product bundles.
  • Develop executive communication for all pricing initiatives, translating complex data into high-impact updates and recommendations for senior leadership.
