Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in energy policy, with emphasis on solar and storage markets.
  • Proven track record of successfully shaping and influencing energy legislation and regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of energy market dynamics, project development lifecycle, and associated regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience working with regulators, utilities, and trade organizations.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to develop actionable policy strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical capabilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Self-motivated and collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive policy strategies related to solar and energy storage sectors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to influence regulatory and legislative outcomes.
  • Represent SolAmerica Energy in trade organizations, industry coalitions, and public forums to advocate for favorable policies.
  • Monitor and analyze policy trends and regulatory changes to identify risks and opportunities for the company.
  • Mentor and manage policy team members to ensure high performance and alignment with company objectives.
