Our US Ophthalmology team is committed to transforming the lives of patients living with diabetic macular edema (DME) and neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD) with a portfolio of two products in the pipeline. This is a terrific opportunity for a highly motivated individual to serve as a key team member on the US Ophthalmology marketing team and contribute to our scientific strategic development and key tactics for medical education. The ideal candidate for this role has a demonstrated record of strong strategic thinking, the ability to comprehend and translate complex scientific and clinical data, and a history of delivering results while working cross‑functionally and leading without authority. We are currently recruiting for an Associate Director, U.S. Ophthalmology HCP Marketing. This is an exciting time for a talented and passionate marketing professional to join our launch team for our investigational novel treatments. This position is a hybrid work model and will report to the Director of US HCP Marketing.

Requirements

  • BA/BS
  • 5+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop resources that meet the HCP strategic and communication objectives for the brand in collaboration with agency partners, vendors, and key stakeholders
  • Manages project deliverables and timelines end to end from development through approval for promotion
  • Work collaboratively to develop, gain approval for and execute a comprehensive omnichannel promotion plan, including personal promotion, aligned to brand strategy
  • Lead approval with Commercial Review Team (CRT) of omnichannel promotional resources
  • Attend key sales meetings and national congresses as needed
  • Lead the integration of customer insights, market research and competitive intelligence findings into the development of promotion resources
  • Develop a longitudinal tactical plan for resources and with work with field execution point on associated communications for field sales
  • Provide project management support for relevant marketing priorities
  • Work with field execution point on training on promotional resources
  • Work with sales operations teams in the planning and execution of field sales launch meetings
  • Support the compliant execution of all resources launched to the field sales organization
  • Partner with Field Access team and Field Sales Execution to align on all cross-functional training and launch needs
  • Proactively keep agile backlog for all workstreams up to date with key timelines and deliverables to ensure transparency across the HCP CAT
  • Ensure timely and accurate budget management for Ophthalmology
  • Manage ways or working, project management, communications and budget with Agency of Records and approved Vendors
  • Operate in alignment with our Company policies and standards
