About The Position

Peachtree Road United Methodist Church (www.prumc.org) is a large, active, and growing traditional church (~1,700 in weekly attendance) located in Atlanta's Buckhead community. PRUMC’s youth ministry serves a vibrant and engaged group of students and families, and we are seeking a full-time Associate Director of Youth Ministry to join our team. The ideal candidate will sense a clear call to youth ministry and have a passion for helping students grow in their faith through Wesleyan theology within the United Methodist tradition. We are looking for a self-starting, relational, team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and connects well with students, parents, and volunteers. This role typically requires 3–5 years of youth ministry experience, particularly in recruiting and leading volunteers, and planning and executing trips and events. That said, we are most interested in finding the right person whose gifts and calling align with our common purpose to “model Jesus by helping young people feel fully known and truly loved.” PRUMC is committed to developing its staff and offers a competitive salary, strong benefits package, and opportunities for professional and spiritual growth, including conferences and ongoing training.
