About The Position

Associate Finance Director- SC Finance, NA Foods & UFS Background & Purpose of the Job: As part of Foods North America Finance organization, the Associate Finance Director is the key business partner to the Supply Chain team, reporting to the North America Foods CFO (Head of Finance) and based in Hoboken, NJ. The essence of the role is to co-pilot the SVP of Supply Chain, Procurement Director, and the broader SC team, drive control framework at the three Food production sites, performance manage (actuals reporting, forecasting, planning, etc.) in year, support longer-term strategies, and drive productivity savings across the business. Who You Are & What You'll Do: · Finance Business Partner (FBP) to the SVP Supply Chain for Foods N. America, providing the team with financial support and financial performance metrics for both the Retail and UFS Organization · Control Stewardship of three factories (Independence, Rexdale, and Kilbourn) and driving productivity in incurred cost of sites. · Accountable for bridging SCC P&L changes in the Cashup, Forecast and Actuals cycle, while driving value creation and performance agenda towards in-year business targets. · Partner business to drive clarity and savings on Business Waste. · Driving corrective actions to make sure that actuals are delivered as planned. · Continuous challenge of different departments in SC to ensure that project funnel is sufficient to deliver Cost Transformation Agenda. · Control over E2E Savings – there are many different supply chain initiatives to drive cost savings, from material savings and loss reduction to manufacturing excellence initiatives, etc. · Support the full network with Capex decisions, partner on global sourcing initiatives. · End-to-end responsibilities with Procurement (resolving buying variances, converting material and savings (VIP) initiatives into P&L, driving strategic procurement agendas, etc.) · Leading a 11 person multi layered team, managing daily deliverables and development. Requirements

  • A degree required, in an applicable area, with 8+ years of relevant finance experience
  • Analytical thinking/problem-solving ability
  • Ability to combine multiple and different data points to draw conclusions
  • Apply a systematic approach to identify and eliminate root causes
  • Sees problems through to a complete solution beyond the immediate next step
  • Professional communication skills for all levels of the organization.
