About The Position

The Associate Director of Retail Marketing will support the development and implementation of the US retail pharmacy vaccine strategy to optimize performance within the retail segment. This role will drive strategy development and tactical execution within retail to meet customer needs and internal objectives. The individual should have experience working in a cross-functional environment, as they will work closely with retail sales, Sanofi franchise marekting, market access, legal and regulatory. This position requires a highly-motivated individual who can work effectively in a dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy and creative problem-solving skills to identify trends and future needs and communicate this to all relevant stakeholders. This is a high-impact role requiring strategic vision, cross-functional influence, and accountability for tactical execution in retail and accountability for VaxServe P&L performance. This position is based in the US and will report to the Director of Marketing at VaxServe. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of pharmaceutical, healthcare, or vaccine marketing and/or sales experience
  • Strategic thinker with demonstrated presentation development and excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented self-starter capable of owning initiatives from beginning to end

Responsibilities

  • Lead tactical execution of retail marketing and identify efficiencies across multiple franchises to optimize performance and resource allocation
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in franchise-related planning and budgeting efforts to identify growth opportunities and ensure end-to-end execution
  • Meet with influential contacts within top retailers to expand VaxServe reach and influence through marketing campaigns
  • Champion retail segment level strategy pull-through to drive uptake in top targeted accounts to deliver VaxServe P&L
  • Act as field integration lead with the Retail sales team to ensure strategic pull through, provide support, identify education needs, and uncover opportunities
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of the retail vaccine market and trends to form long-term strategies and solutions
  • Oversee management of the Agency of Record and other vendor partners
  • Measure, monitor, evaluate and report on the effectiveness of marketing programs in the retail segment to inform investment decisions.
  • Lead the development, creation, and implementation of branded and unbranded promotional materials
  • Be accountable for all promotional submission activities through legal, regulatory, and medical review processes, and with agencies to ensure all deliverables are met for all retail marketing materials
  • Ensure that all marketing processes, documents, and tactics are developed and implemented in accordance with Sanofi and VaxServe corporate compliance
  • Develop and manage promotional budget and monitor the productivity of all promotional programs
  • Lead cross-functional retail strategy meetings including brand marketing, market research, market access, legal, regulatory, and other functions
  • Support annual conference planning for retail and work cross functionally with all attendees including preparation of all related promotional materials and presentations.
