The Integration Manager’s responsibilities are to manage integration projects through developing, coordinating, and evaluating integration project plans, organize and track project plan documents, perform scope preparation/writing, understand technical requirements, manage projects and teams. This role involves managing integration development processes, acting as a liaison between departments, performing user acceptance testing, creating technical documentation, and developing SOPs. The position also assists in developing training materials, resolving problems, participating in the design and rollout of solutions, and implementing standards for production, productivity, quality, and customer service. Daily activities include process design, implementation lifecycle support, and project reviews. The role collaborates with leadership to establish relevant metrics, creates schedules and timelines, and manages resources across integration teams. Quality control is performed throughout development, and schedules are adjusted as needed. The Associate Director prepares status reports, identifies findings with solutions for senior management, and chairs monthly meetings such as the MDL managers’ meeting and Key Indicators of Quality meetings. They also serve on committees like the Specimen Flow and New Test Release Committees. Additional responsibilities include providing on-call coverage for the lab, preparing for and assisting in regulatory inspections, and performing other related duties. The role requires meeting with team members to resolve issues, submitting quality-adhered deliverables, participating as a team member, assuring timely and understandable information delivery, proactively diagnosing and resolving problems, and maintaining productive work habits with accuracy and quality. The ability to guide and mentor staff at all levels is also essential.
