About The Position

As a part of a diverse community of faculty and staff who represent many faith systems and worldviews, Marian University is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Associate Director of Admissions who will promote our Catholic Franciscan mission and identity by providing operational and strategic leadership for recruitment, territory management, and counseling functions while overseeing day-to-day admissions operations. This role supports achievement of enrollment goals through data-informed recruitment strategy, staff leadership, and direct engagement with prospective students and partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of admission, recruitment or enrollment experience.
  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functional areas.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of Marian University
  • Adheres to Marian University’s policies and procedures.
  • Exercises independent judgment in all matters.
  • Shows courtesy and respect in interactions with fellow employees, students subordinates, and supervisors

Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment strategy, territory management, and counseling practices to achieve enrollment targets (20%)
  • Manage daily recruitment operations including visits, outreach, and events (20%)
  • Supervise admissions counselors and recruitment staff, including performance management and coaching (20%)
  • Maintain active recruitment territory, including travel, student counseling, and relationship development (15%)
  • Analyze enrollment data, funnel metrics, and yield to inform recruitment strategy (10%)
  • Lead development and execution of admissions communications in collaboration with marketing (10%)
  • Collaborate with academic departments, financial aid, and institutional research to support enrollment outcomes (5%)
  • Program-level budget monitoring and resource recommendations
