About The Position

This role involves providing oversight of nursing care on a unit, maintaining service excellence and nursing practice standards, and developing evidence-based policies and procedures. The position is responsible for staffing, budget management, expense control, staff development and education, performance improvement, and human resource management. The Associate Director supervises, evaluates, guides, and counsels nursing staff. This is a leadership role within a team model focused on achieving excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required
  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing Required
  • 2 years experience as a RN in a clinical specialty area Required
  • Basic Life Support Required
  • PA Registered Nurse License Required
  • Multi State Compact RN License Required

Nice To Haves

  • National certification in Nursing or Healthcare related specialty preferred.
  • Master's Degree Nursing or Healthcare related field Preferred
  • Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required
  • 1 year experience in a clinical leadership role Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provides oversight of the nursing care provided to patients on a nursing unit.
