About The Position

The Associate Director, Multiple Myeloma (MM) will report to the US Medical Affairs CT, Multiple Myeloma Lead and will be based in New Jersey. The Associate Director will provide medical leadership for the Multiple Myeloma Cell Therapy Franchise, including both FDA approved products and pipeline products in Multiple Myeloma. He/she will represent BMS CT US Medical Affairs as needed, serving as a myeloma CAR T expert in strategic and tactical discussions, both internally and externally.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in health-related field (MD, PharmD or PhD)
  • Prior work experience in the field of Multiple Myeloma and strong knowledge of the treatment landscape and/or Cellular Therapy highly preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years industry experience with deep knowledge of the Medical Affairs function and core responsibilities required
  • Strong scientific acumen and proficiency in clinical data review and interpretation
  • Excellent analytical skills and solid experience in translating medical/clinical information into medical affairs strategies
  • Experience with managing timeline driven deliverables from inception through to execution
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience with engagement with healthcare professionals including clinicians, pharmacists, nurses, etc. a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support strategic/tactical planning and execution of US Medical Affairs plans
  • Represent BMS US Medical Affairs as a therapeutic area expert in both internal and external venues including the US and Global cross-functional teams, clinical sub-teams, and advisory boards / steering committees.
  • Represent BMS at professional meetings, congresses, and local symposia supporting thought leader engagement through scientific exchange
  • Provide high quality clinical input and review of congress abstracts, posters, presentation slides, manuscripts, educational materials, Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR) protocols, steering committee and advisory board meeting materials, Medical Information response documents, scientific educational grant requests, patient advocacy grant requests, amongst other Medical materials
  • Support various Medical Affairs cross-functional working groups
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs field colleagues to define, guide and execute therapeutic regional strategies and tactics with appropriate use of resources
