The Associate Director provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Vice President, Member Relations and Awards Administration. This role leads and develops the year-round administrative and logistical support for the International Feature Film Award category and serves as the primary liaison for the Directors and Writers Branches, supporting all related business functions, including rules, membership review, award submissions, etc. The Associate Director oversees one direct report (Senior Coordinator) and supports a wide range of meetings, events, and special projects, including Executive Committees, Subcommittees, Task Forces, Board of Governors, branch and category events, Oscar Week programming, the Oscars, related events, and Member Receptions. This position requires a highly organized, proactive, and diplomatic professional who demonstrates sound judgment, discretion, and strong ethical standards. The ideal candidate is globally aware, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and able to anticipate needs while effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, innovative thinking, and a collaborative mindset are essential to support workflow improvements and cross-functional partnership.
