The Associate Director, Medical Content and Publications will leverage their scientific and medical writing expertise to develop and deliver high-quality medical content and publications. This role is ideal for an experienced medical writer seeking career advancement within the biotech industry. The successful candidate will possess strong scientific knowledge, excel in cross-functional and external stakeholder collaboration, demonstrate excellent scientific writing skills, and be proficient in project management. Reporting to the Director, Publications and Medical Strategy, this individual will serve as the medical writer for abstract submissions, congress presentations, and journal articles related to lung cancer and glioma. They will manage internal and external author reviews and submissions to congresses and/or journals, ensuring compliance with internal SOPs and Good Publication Practices, including familiarity with ICMJE/GPP guidelines and current publication ethics standards. A key aspect of this role involves leading the team's responsible use of AI in content creation, advising on the evolving landscape of AI-assisted information sharing by healthcare providers, and contributing to the broader publications and AI strategy under the guidance of the Director and Executive Director of Medical Strategy. Additionally, the role requires delivering well-written, researched, and scientifically rigorous FAQs, advisory board content, and other medical communications projects for the company's full product pipeline. Further responsibilities will be assigned based on team and business requirements.
