About The Position

This role leads the development, execution, and monitoring of operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and performance improvements in line with overall operational objectives. The position focuses on driving manufacturing goals while ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations. It involves creating a positive, inclusive, and diverse work environment that promotes a speak-up culture and a growth mindset. The role is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment, promoting quality initiatives, and driving the evolution of the company's Production System. Key areas of focus include increasing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), enhancing asset reliability and availability, and optimizing product costs. The position also involves overseeing budget establishment, communication, and management, as well as collaborating with various departments on projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field).
  • 5+ years in Operations Management experience.
  • 5+ years of Cross Functional experience in one of the following: Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, or Finance.
  • Minimum of 15 years of total manufacturing experience.

  • Previous role at the supervisor and/or manager level in a cross-functional capacity is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the development, execution, and monitoring of operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and performance improvements.
  • Ensures compliance with Company, Federal, State, and local Safety and Environmental regulations and laws.
  • Creates a positive, inclusive, and diverse work environment that promotes a speak-up culture and a growth mindset.
  • Ensures a safe working environment that engages all associates and is compliant with all regulatory and internal policies.
  • Drives continuous safety improvement in areas such as process safety management, ergonomics, facilities, and equipment.
  • Actively promotes Inspire Quality initiatives and ensures compliance with local company's quality policies, including GMP, CFR, and ISO standards.
  • Provides leadership to drive the evolution of the company's Production System and expansion of Kaizen.
  • Focuses on increasing OEE, enhancing asset reliability and availability, and optimizing product costs.
  • Oversees and guides the establishment of yearly budgets and goals, and manages the budget throughout the planned period.
  • Coordinates and collaborates on projects and initiatives with R&D, Human Resources, Q.A., Finance, Materials, and Marketing.
