About The Position

The Associate Director, Influencer Management is a senior-level role on the CAIT team, a hybrid role focused on influencer marketing expertise and heavy project management, keeping complex influencer programs organized, moving, and executing at a high level. This person serves as connective tissue across CAIT, Account, Strategy, Creative, Analytics, Production, and Business Affairs, helping keep teams aligned on timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and client expectations. The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills with meaningful experience in influencer and creator marketing. They understand how influencer programs work from start to finish, can anticipate where projects may get stuck, and are comfortable working directly with clients and internal teams to keep programs on track.

Requirements

  • Experience across influencer marketing, creator marketing, social media, integrated marketing, and/or project management.
  • Strong working knowledge of the influencer and creator marketing ecosystem, including sourcing, vetting, pricing, negotiation, contracting, briefing, content development, approvals, posting, and measurement.
  • Hands-on experience executing influencer or creator campaigns.
  • Experience managing complex projects with multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
  • A strong understanding of the full influencer lifecycle, from sourcing and negotiation through content development, posting, and measurement.
  • Experience communicating directly with clients and participating in client-facing meetings.
  • A strong understanding of creator analytics & performance metrics and evolving creator trends.
  • The ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities simultaneously without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
  • The ability to operate in fast-moving environments where timelines, talent availability, and client priorities can change quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day project management across influencer and creator programs from kickoff through completion.
  • Build, maintain, and manage detailed project timelines across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Translate scopes and campaign plans into clear deliverables, owners, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Maintain project trackers and ensure actions, decisions, updates, and outstanding needs are clearly documented.
  • Coordinate internal and client status meetings, ensuring teams are prepared and next steps are clearly captured.
  • Proactively identify timeline risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies and surface them to the appropriate teams.
  • Ensure sourcing, approvals, contracting, briefing, content development, posting and reporting remain connected within one cohesive timeline.
  • Follow up with internal stakeholders to ensure deliverables stay on schedule.
  • Help teams navigate shifting timelines, creator availability, and changing client priorities.
  • Translate influencer strategy into executable programs.
  • Manage creator sourcing and shortlisting processes, ensuring recommendations align with campaign objectives, audience, cultural relevance and platform fit.
  • Evaluate creators beyond follower count, with an understanding of organic views, reach, engagement, content quality and historical performance.
  • Understand creator pricing and help assess whether proposed partnerships represent appropriate value.
  • Review influencer recommendations, briefs, and deliverables for accuracy and quality before they move forward.
  • Step in on influencer and agent communications, deliverables, and content approval workflows as needed.
  • Maintain awareness of platform trends, emerging creators, and shifts within the creator economy.
  • Analyze influencer and creator analytics from campaigns and translate to actionable insights.
  • Understand how influencer performance and campaign learnings can inform future creator selection and execution.
  • Serve as a consistent day-to-day client contact across assigned programs.
  • Build client confidence through organization, responsiveness, and command of program details.
  • Participate in and, where appropriate, run client status meetings focused on timelines, deliverables, outstanding decisions, and next steps.
  • Clearly communicate project progress, upcoming milestones, and potential risks.
  • Translate internal conversations into concise, actionable client updates.
  • Confidently answer day-to-day influencer marketing questions and provide informed recommendations within their area of expertise.
  • Manage expectations around timelines, creator availability, approvals and executional realities.
  • Recognize when issues require escalation to more senior team members.
  • Serve as connective tissue across CAIT, Account, Strategy, Creative, Analytics, Production, and Business Affairs throughout the lifecycle of a program.
  • Keep teams aligned on what is needed, who owns it and when it is due.
  • Coordinate handoffs between teams to minimize gaps or delays in execution.
  • Partner with Strategy and Creative to ensure influencer recommendations and creator briefs remain connected to the campaign idea and objectives.
  • Coordinate with Business Affairs and creator-facing teams to track negotiations and contracting against campaign timelines.
  • Work with Analytics to ensure measurement requirements and reporting timelines are incorporated into the broader project plan.
  • Surface cross-functional dependencies early and help the appropriate teams work through them.
  • Capture campaign learnings and help translate them into improved processes and future ways of working.
  • Provide clear day-to-day direction and context to Managers, Senior Managers and Associates working across assigned programs.
  • Help ensure junior team members understand their deliverables, deadlines and responsibilities.
  • Review work for accuracy, completeness, and readiness before it moves to clients or more senior team members.
  • Support junior team members with influencer marketing fundamentals and strong project management practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, templates, trackers and operating processes.
  • Help maintain consistent ways of working across programs and clients.
  • Maintain a high bar for organization, accuracy, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
