About The Position

The Associate Director for Housing Operations provides leadership and oversight for the operational functions of Housing and Residence Life. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient management of residential facilities, housing assignments, housing management systems, and day-to-day operational logistics that support a safe, well-maintained, and student-centered residential environment. The role coordinates housing occupancy and assignments, oversees facility operations in collaboration with campus partners, manages housing technology systems, and supervises operational processes that ensure effective service delivery to students. The Associate Director works to streamline processes, maintain high operational standards, and support the department’s mission by ensuring that housing infrastructure, resources, and systems function effectively to enhance the overall residential experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • At least three years of progressively responsible professional experience in Housing and Residence Life.
  • Demonstrated experience with housing management systems including THD, TMA, and Colleague.
  • Experience managing housing assignments and occupancy processes.
  • Knowledge of residential facilities operations, including coordination of maintenance, operational logistics, and systems that support effective housing operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in College Student Personnel Administration, Counseling, Education, Higher Education Administration, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • 5 years of experience working within a college student housing program or student life is strongly preferred.
