About The Position

Cresset is seeking an Associate Director, Growth & Pipeline Management, to help oversee the execution and performance of the firm's inbound prospect pipeline. This individual will play a critical role in converting marketing-generated demand into advisor meetings, qualified opportunities, and ultimately new client relationships. The Associate Director will serve as a primary point of contact for qualified inbound prospects, conducting discovery conversations to understand client needs, assess fit for Cresset, and connect prospective clients with the advisor teams best positioned to serve them. In addition, this individual will oversee pipeline management operations, advisor engagement, lead attribution, and conversion reporting to ensure a consistent and scalable client acquisition process. As a member of the Growth Team and reporting to the Managing Director, Digital Experience, this position will help drive pipeline performance, improve conversion outcomes, and deliver an exceptional experience for prospective clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in wealth management, business development, client acquisition, sales operations, pipeline management, or related functions.
  • Strong understanding of wealth management, family office services, and the needs of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct consultative discovery conversations and build credibility with prospective clients.
  • Must be able to think critically, effectively, and anticipate needs and issues
  • Must have high attention to detail in all aspects of the role, work quickly and accurately
  • Experience with CRM systems and lead pipelines, preferably Salesforce.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data and translating insights into action.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High degree of professionalism, integrity, and client-service orientation.
  • Must be self-directed and able to work with individuals at all levels, including executive management.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for qualified inbound prospects generated through Cresset's digital marketing efforts.
  • Conduct consultative discovery conversations to understand a prospect's financial situation, goals, service needs, and overall fit for Cresset.
  • Communicate Cresset's value proposition, capabilities, and service offerings in a compelling and client-centric manner.
  • Assess prospective opportunities and determine the advisor team best positioned to serve each client based on expertise, geography, complexity, and likelihood of successful conversion.
  • Facilitate warm introductions and seamless handoffs to advisor teams, ensuring a seamless and high-quality prospect experience.
  • Own the day-to-day management and performance of an inbound lead pipeline from initial inquiry through advisor engagement.
  • Ensure qualified leads are contacted, routed, and managed in accordance with established service-level standards.
  • Monitor pipeline health, lead progression, advisor responsiveness, and conversion performance across all stages of the funnel.
  • Identify bottlenecks, stalled opportunities, and areas of conversion leakage, partnering with advisors and market leaders to improve outcomes.
  • Support achievement of lead response time, pipeline coverage, and client revenue/acquisition goals.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting within Salesforce and other dashboards.
  • Ensure data integrity, process consistency, and visibility across all lead management activities.
  • Partner with Growth Marketing to support lead attribution and measure the effectiveness of marketing-generated opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver reporting on pipeline performance, advisor activity, lead quality, conversion trends, and revenue outcomes.
  • Provide actionable insights that support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Partner closely with Growth Marketing, advisors, and leadership to improve lead quality, conversion performance, and overall funnel effectiveness.
  • Analyze performance by lead source, advisor, geography, and market segment to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to lead qualification, routing, follow-up, and conversion processes.
  • Share best practices, insights, and recommendations that support scalable growth and an exceptional prospect experience.
