Requirements
- Doctorate MD or DO - Required
- 3 years residency in Family Medicine - Required
- Current or prior experience in a primary care residency program - Required
- Physician\PHYS - Physician Eligible for Arizona State License Board Certified in Family Medicine, ABFM Upon Hire - Required
Nice To Haves
- Obstetrics skills - Preferred
Responsibilities
- Participates as attending physician at the Family Medicine Center and on hospital rounds in rotation with other faculty.
- Maintains an active medical practice.
- Performs director’s duties in his/her absence.
- Participates in residency related committees as assigned.
- Participates in resident evaluations
- Participates in interviewing and selection of resident applicants.
- Designs implements and coordinates assigned curricular areas
- Designs implements and coordinates assigned curricular areas
- Acts as advisor for assigned residents
- Performs chart review of Family Medicine Center charts
- Serves on hospital committees as appointed
- Provides letters of recommendation for residents and staff as required
