About The Position

The Associate Director, Email Marketing & Digital Communications is a key contributor to the Mount Sinai Office of Development’s donor engagement and fundraising communications strategy. Reporting to the Executive Director of Communications and working closely with the Senior Director of Annual Programs and the Director of Communications to help build and operationalize a best-in-class email program as we transition from a legacy email platform to Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The Associate Director will design and execute donor-facing journeys, automations, segmentation, and dynamic content strategies that support institutional fundraising priorities, events, and deepening engagement over time. In addition to email, this role will contribute to the creation of digital-first engagement packages and touch points for donors and constituent groups (e.g., strategic newsletters, microsites, curated multimedia content, and cohort- or individual-specific communication experiences). The role requires a self-starter who can collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external implementation partners, and who uses testing, measurement, and reporting to improve performance and ROI. The incumbent will be someone who thrives in a content-rich and fast-paced environment, and who enjoys collaborating with a wide variety of partners while providing guidance, expertise, and value at a moment of strategic digital evolution.
