What You’ll Be Doing: Associate Director, EAS Client Analytics Summary An Associate Director, Analytics oversees the activities of a group of functional and/or technical analysts as well as supporting decision making within Evolent and for Evolent’s partners by conducting and overseeing analyses and developing actionable insights, including financial analyses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 6+ years of healthcare analytics experience.
  • Strong technical expertise in analytics technologies and visualization tools, such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, R, Python and relevant ecosystems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on scalability and performance optimization.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
  • A proven track record of fostering a positive and inclusive team environment that drives innovation and productivity.
  • Ability to excel in highly matrixed environment and adapt to change
  • High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years in a team leadership role.
  • Experience with value-based analyses or Medicaid.
  • Experience with financial analysis, forecasting or actuarial analyses.
  • Associate of the Society of Actuaries or progress towards Associate of the Society of Actuaries

Responsibilities

  • Lead analytics initiatives for a functional area, ensuring alignment with goals.
  • Deliver recurring and ad hoc analyses with actionable insights.
  • Manage, review, and ensure accuracy of actuarial or financial models to support gainshare and ROI arrangements, as well as forecasting.
  • Present insights to mid-level stakeholders, translating data into business context.
  • Influence decisions through clear, data-driven recommendations.
  • Support adoption of automation, modeling, and visualization tools across projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve analytics processes and outputs.
  • Lead and develop team members and coordinate cross-functional efforts.
  • Promote collaboration and prioritize team deliverables.
  • Research, create proof of concepts, and introduce new methods.
  • Guide others through problem solving whether it is a technical issue, project impediment, or conflict.
  • Guide the delivery of your team to make a positive impact on other parts of the company based on detailed knowledge of the needs of those stakeholders and how those needs are supported by your team.
  • Own relevant segment of systems that are used regularly for the business to function and are well versed in the related KPIs.
  • Make changes to processes related to your role for your team(s), listen to and translate feedback from other stakeholders, and guide team(s) through those changes.
  • Regularly make an impact to your entire team.
