About The Position

NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity available for an Associate Director, Dean’s Office Affairs in the Office of the Dean. The Associate Director will provide high-level executive support to the Dean and the Dean’s Office, orchestrating complex logistics, and crafting communications to internal and external stakeholders. They will manage operations, including the calendar, travel itineraries, daily briefing book, event briefings and remarks, and responding to constituent inquiries. They will work with the Dean’s Office leadership to understand priorities and proactively align office activities accordingly to ensure adherence to deadlines and the highest quality standards. The Associate Director will manage communications, crafting and sending correspondence. They will serve as a liaison for a wide range of internal and external stakeholder groups and cultivate relationships with faculty, administrators, and students. The Associate Director will also manage special projects in partnership with the Chief of Staff and Director, as well as support events sponsored by the Dean’s Office, such as receptions, conferences, programs, and meetings with faculty, administrators, and corporate partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of relevant experience with office operations, drafting and editing external communications, events, project management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven ability to communicate sensitive information and interact with high-profile stakeholders with professionalism
