Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior leaders within complex, matrixed organizations.
  • 4+ years’ experience with effective change management and Lean tool deployment

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced CORE certification (Professional / Expert), or active progress towards.
  • Experience with CI, operational excellence, and enterprise Lean Transformation.
  • Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization, including influencing behaviors and change management
  • Experience leading large-scale, global operating system deployments across multi-site organizations and SBUs.
  • Six Sigma Certification
  • Cross functional work experience (e. g. Operations, Materials Mgmt , Quality, Business Processes, Supply Chain)
  • Experience working in a matrix organizational structure.

Responsibilities

  • Direct, lead and execute the long- and short-term strategy to ensure sustainable results that meet or exceed financial and operational targets.
  • Provides primary input into talent and resource management and rewards decisions for direct reports.
  • Manages resources and leads/ facilitates complex projects/transformations/Events that cut across organizational, functional, and internal boundaries, with flexibility to determine how assignments are completed (e.g., objectives and approaches to completing work).
  • Works with leadership to develop and implement operational excellence strategy.
  • Establishes operational plans in support of policy deployment goals and initiatives for the organization.
  • Accountable for establishing metrics and ensuring targets are met including event/project closure results achieved.
  • Drives/ Facilitates resolution of difficult or complex problems and manages closure actions.
  • Drives/develops and manages improvement and implementation of current and new processes and standards that will have impact on the achievement of functional results
  • Coaching, mentoring, and training individuals and organizations within the business on their CORE & CI journey.
  • Interface directly with Executives/Management to positively influence and lead CORE /CI culture and competency improvement across the organization.
  • Develops methods for identifying , sharing, and implementing best practices across the organization.
  • Measures and drives CORE /CI progression across the organization.
  • Facilitates/Sponsors kaizen/CI events including leadership weeks.
  • Successfully builds networks across the organization and discipline.
  • Identifies knowledge gaps across the organization and establishes a closure plan.
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 60% of the time (domestic and international)
