The Associate Director of Corrective and Preventative Action Management (CAPAM) leads the strategy, governance, and execution of corrective and preventative action (CAPA) processes for projects spanning across Optum Rx. This role is accountable for ensuring systemic issues are prevented through scalable, sustainable solutions. The Associate Director provides organizational leadership over the CAPAM function, including direct management of the CAPAM team and oversight of high-risk, high-complexity CAPA initiatives. This role partners with senior stakeholders across business, compliance, audit, and operations to influence strategy, mitigate risk, and drive continuous improvement. This leader balances operational execution with strategic transformation, ensuring CAPA processes, tools, and governance models are optimized for effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and business impact.
