Purpose The Associate Director, Business Planning and Operations serves as a senior executive leader for the Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences, reporting directly to the Institute Director/Associate Vice President for Research. This role provides enterprise-level leadership and strategic direction across finance, information technology, communications, programs, and facilities. The Associate Director operates as a principal advisor to the Director on organizational strategy, resource alignment, and operational execution, ensuring that institutional priorities are effectively translated into sustainable, high-impact outcomes. This position plays a central role in Institute governance, decision-making, and cross-functional integration to advance the Institute’s mission and long-term growth.
