Clinton Health Access Initiative,

About The Position

The Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. (CHAI) is a global health organization committed to saving lives and reducing the burden of disease in low- and middle-income countries. CHAI works with governments and the private sector to create and sustain high-quality health systems. CHAI's Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiative aims to support Ministries of Health in systematically capturing and scaling the benefits of AI, envisioning "AI Native Health Systems" for accessible, high-quality, and efficient healthcare delivery. The program focuses on four pillars: 'AI Doctors' (clinical intelligence), 'AI Diagnostics', health systems AI applications (National Health Intelligence Centers), and 'AI Foundations' (infrastructure, governance, workforce strategy). National Health Intelligence Centers are a key component, bringing together data and AI-enabled analytics to improve health system management in areas like disease surveillance, financial and workforce management, and supply chain. CHAI acts as a trusted partner, assisting governments in defining needs, navigating the technology landscape, and building institutional capacity for sustainability.
