AD, Advanced Analytics & Modeling

Novartis•East Hanover, NJ
•$176,400 - $327,600

About The Position

The Advanced Analytics & Modeling Center of Excellence transforms complex business questions into scalable analytical capabilities, decision-ready insights, and measurable business impact across the US portfolio. The CoE has a deliberately flat structure, with capability Directors supported by Associate Director-level Advanced Analytics Leads and working in partnership with the Hyderabad analytics organization. Reporting to the Executive Director, Advanced Analytics & Modeling, the Associate Director is a senior individual contributor deployed dynamically across launches, therapeutic areas, and enterprise initiatives. The role supports Promotion Effectiveness, Measurement & Resource Optimization; Key Drivers & Action Planning Analytics; and Predictive Modeling & Precision Health. Each Associate Director has a primary capability area while remaining flexible across other capabilities and developing T-shaped skills. This is an end-to-end analytical engagement leadership role, not a reactive shared-services or project-management role. The Associate Director is accountable for work from defining the business question through selecting methodology, executing analysis, and recommending decisions. Success is measured by whether business decisions improve, rather than simply by delivery of analyses. The role directs and quality-assures analytical execution by Hyderabad team members but has no direct reports, and contributes to established enterprise analytical standards and reusable approaches without setting them. The preferred location is the East Hanover, New Jersey site; remote work may be possible subject to restrictions based on legal entity. Relocation is not provided. Remote employees are responsible for home office expenses and travel or lodging for periodic meetings at the East Hanover site. Working-hour and travel expectations will be defined by the hiring manager, and the position's requirements are subject to the manager's discretion.
