About The Position

The Associate DevOps Engineer is an entry‑level role designed for early‑career technologists who are passionate about automation, cloud technologies, and modern software delivery practices. This position provides hands‑on experience supporting CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and DevSecOps practices while working closely with and receiving mentorship from experienced DevOps engineers. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a strong technical foundation and grow into a full DevOps Engineer position by contributing to real‑world, production‑level systems within an enterprise environment.

Requirements

  • Foundational understanding of DevOps and automation concepts
  • Ability to work with operating systems such as Linux or Windows
  • Basic scripting or programming ability
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts
  • Problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within cross‑functional technical teams
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow in a DevOps engineering career

  • Familiarity with source control tools (e.g., Git or GitHub)
  • Basic understanding of containers, infrastructure automation, or DevSecOps concepts
  • Internship experience, lab work, or academic projects related to automation or cloud computing

Responsibilities

  • Assist in building, maintaining, and supporting CI/CD pipelines
  • Contribute to infrastructure automation using scripting and infrastructure‑as‑code tools
  • Support cloud platform environments under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Help maintain the reliability and availability of development and deployment platforms
  • Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • Support routine operational tasks, platform monitoring, and alert response
  • Document processes, standards, and system configurations
  • Learn and apply DevSecOps practices within CI/CD pipelines
  • Follow organizational security guidelines and compliance standards
  • Collaborate with security and engineering teams to help remediate issues
  • Work closely with application developers, operations teams, and senior DevOps engineers
  • Participate in code reviews, team standups, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Actively learn enterprise DevOps tools, platforms, and processes
