About The Position
Alpers Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in Scottsdale is seeking an experienced Associate Dentist who is passionate about practicing at a high level and eager to grow, particularly in cosmetic, implant, and complex restorative dentistry. This role offers the opportunity to diagnose comprehensively, build patient relationships, and treat a diverse range of cases in a modern, fee-for-service practice. The position includes genuine mentorship from Dr. Kris Alpers, who is dedicated to clinical development and helping dentists become stronger clinicians. The practice provides comprehensive care, including cosmetic and restorative dentistry, veneers, dental implants, grafting, full-mouth reconstruction, Invisalign, complex restorative cases, and general/preventive dentistry. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical fundamentals and a desire for more exposure and mentorship. The practice emphasizes quality, thoughtful, high-quality dentistry, and utilizes advanced technology such as CBCT imaging, iTero scanning, digital dentistry, 3D printing, smile simulations, and advanced laser technology. The role is designed to offer a meaningful and productive schedule with opportunities for rewarding cases as skills grow.
Requirements
- A few years of practicing experience
- Comfortable with general restorative dentistry
- Valid Arizona dental license and DEA registration
- Post-dental-school clinical experience
- Strong general and restorative dentistry skills
- Some experience or a strong clinical interest in cosmetic dentistry, veneers, and implants
- Care about doing dentistry well, not simply doing more dentistry
- Enjoy building trust and communicating treatment clearly
- Welcome feedback and want mentorship
- Curious and committed to continuing education
- Want to be part of a collaborative team rather than simply working alongside one
