About The Position

We are a dentist recruiting company working with a very reputable office that is seeking an associate dentist. This private office has wonderful online reviews and has been in the community for many years. They are averaging 125 new patients per month and really need help. The office is a state of the art one, with digital x-rays, paperless charting, CEREC, CBCT and more. They have an experienced and tenured staff of assistants, hygienists and front desk, that all work very well together. The office sees mostly adults but has a good amount of kids also. This client is needing a dentist to start in the month of June. They are offering amazing mentoring in advanced procedures such as implants, wisdom teeth extractions and endo. If a dentist just wants to focus on general restorative procedures, that is fine also. There is an opportunity to treat kids as well if interested but not required. Dentists are trained in IV sedation for this opportunity. They are seeking a full time dentist to work 4 & 1/2 days per week, but would consider part time as well. No nights and no weekends. Both experienced and new grads will be considered as they can offer amazing mentoring and collaboration with the other dentists. General dentistry procedures is all that is required but if proficient in more advanced procedures that is a plus. There would be wonderful collaboration as well with the other dentists.

Requirements

Doctor of dental surgery (DDS) or doctor of medicine in dentistry (DMD).
State license to practice dentistry.
CPR certification.
Proven experience working in a dental practice.
The ability to use various dental instruments and equipment.
The ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
The ability to work in a team.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in advanced procedures such as implants, wisdom teeth extractions, and endo.
Interest in treating children.

Responsibilities

Perform general dentistry procedures.
Treat adult and pediatric patients.
Utilize digital x-rays, paperless charting, CEREC, and CBCT.
Collaborate with other dentists and experienced staff.
Potentially perform advanced procedures such as implants, wisdom teeth extractions, and endo (with mentoring).
Administer IV sedation.
