About The Position

Scotia Dental is seeking an Associate Dentist for a part-time position, working Thursdays through Saturdays in Halifax, NS. This role offers a dedicated team, a great schedule, and the opportunity to engage in a wide range of dental procedures, from routine care to implants, advanced endodontics, and Invisalign. The position is ideal for a dentist seeking mentorship from an experienced practitioner, Dr. Mary-Anne MacDonald, who has extensive clinical experience and is involved in dental education programs. The practice emphasizes science-backed, whole-human care, with a preventative and evidence-driven philosophy. The clinic is well-equipped with seven hygienists, a strong online presence, and consistent new patient flow, allowing the Associate Dentist to focus on clinical practice.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process
  • Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Domiciled in Canada
  • Confident communicator who connects naturally with patients
