Requirements
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Active dental license in good standing (or ability to obtain licensure prior to start)
- Current DEA registration (if applicable)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong clinical judgment and treatment planning skills
- Ability to perform comprehensive exams and general dentistry procedures
- Excellent communication and patient relationship-building skills
- Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of clinical experience
- Experience in private practice, DSO, or multi-provider environments
- Strong restorative and comprehensive treatment planning experience
- Experience with extractions, endodontics, removable prosthetics, and implant restorations
- Experience with digital scanners, CBCT, digital radiography, and electronic dental records
- Experience presenting treatment plans and supporting case acceptance
- Interest in mentorship, professional growth, and long-term career development
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive, periodic, limited, and emergency exams
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of oral health conditions
- Provide restorative treatment including fillings, crowns, bridges, build-ups, and cosmetic procedures
- Perform extractions, root canal therapy, and removable prosthetic treatment within clinical competency
- Plan and restore implant cases when appropriate
- Deliver emergency and same-day treatment when possible
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
- Clearly communicate treatment recommendations, risks, benefits, and alternatives
- Support patient understanding and case acceptance through effective communication and education
- Collaborate closely with hygienists, assistants, treatment coordinators, and administrative staff
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on exceptional patient care
- Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment documentation
- Follow HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and state dental board regulations
- Stay current on best practices and continuing education opportunities
