The Associate Dean for Academic Affairs (ADAA) provides oversight and leadership for the MSW and BSW programs in academic standards, curriculum design and implementation, faculty development, academic affairs, and student achievement. This role extends to all program options and locations. The ADAA supervises directors and coordinators of various programs and departments, including BSW programs, OMSW program, Practicum Education, and Student Affairs. The ADAA collaborates with center coordinators on activities and focus areas, consults with faculty on course assignments, hires and evaluates adjunct faculty, and oversees course schedules. Additionally, the ADAA explores growth opportunities, develops collaborations with agencies, and pursues federal training grants. This position also serves as the director of the MSW Program, focusing on operationalizing accreditation standards, student retention, academic progress, and degree completion. The MSW Program Director plans orientations, course scheduling, and monitors curriculum implementation.
