About The Position

This role performs financial Quality of Earnings, due diligence, excel financial analysis, and other consultative services for clients who are buying a business, selling a business, or otherwise contemplating some type of merger & acquisition activity.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
General knowledge of accounting principles and/or regulations impacting each engagement or project, financial markets, analysis and reporting of financial data.
Understanding of internal software systems including Pfx Engagement, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Windows and Office.

Nice To Haves

Exposure to financial statement preparation, audits, and reviews preferred.
Working towards CFA, CPA or other post-graduate degree or relevant industry/service certification.

Responsibilities

Performs ad hoc analysis under tight deadlines.
Performs original financial statement modeling with a high degree of accuracy.
Writes reports on findings for communication to the client and their advisors.
Performs the detail financial due diligence.
Collects and analyzes financial data to detect errors in financial reporting.
Summarizes key accounting policies and detects key issues which may impact transaction value or client risk.
Helps build detailed analysis and reports based on findings to be delivered to the client under tight deadlines while maintaining highest quality standards.
Supports multiple engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress and results to supervisors.
Completes assigned portions of engagements with consistency and accuracy and within tight time frames.
May begin to direct small quality of earnings projects at the two-year level.
