Lyft is seeking a bright, pragmatic, and self-motivated employment attorney with 4+ years of employment counseling and litigation experience to join its growing global Legal team. The ideal candidate will leverage their prior law firm and/or in-house experience to provide thoughtful, timely, practical, and business-minded legal advice primarily to the professionals on Lyft’s Employee Relations and People teams across the globe. Experience litigating and/or counseling on compliance with federal and state anti-discrimination/harassment/retaliation laws, preferably including analysis of issues under California law, is required. Prior in-house or seconded technology company experience is preferred but not required. The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial and resourceful self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, excellent at building strong relationships, and interested in learning more about supporting a global workforce.
