Associate Coordinator, Inventory Control
About The Position
The Associate Inventory Control Coordinator reports to the Manager, Inventory Control. Located in Brisbane, CA. Full-Time. In-Office/Hybrid. The Associate Inventory Control Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient inventory management and control processes. This position will involve monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with various departments to reconcile discrepancies, and implementing best practices to optimize inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 1 – 2 years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or related field, or equivalent military or practical experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of inventory control best practices and principles.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with inventory audits and cycle counts is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and databases.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory levels and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate receipt of inventory.
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast inventory needs and optimize stock levels.
- Monitor inventory movements and analyze trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Support the implementation of inventory control policies and procedures.
- Generate reports on inventory status, variances, and trends for management review.
- Provide support for special projects and initiatives related to inventory management.
- Assist in the resolution of inventory-related issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
