About The Position

The Associate Coordinator, Corporate Security is responsible for administering and maintaining physical security systems, including access control, visitor management, and electronic key systems. This role serves as a key technical administrator for Genetec, Cyber Audit Web, CLIQ, and the HID visitor management system (VMS), ensuring the security and integrity of all company locations. The Coordinator will lead internal projects and manage SharePoint based applications.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a corporate security environment, specifically focusing on physical security systems and access control.
  • Proficiency in managing cardholders, rules, and schedules in Genetec Security Center.
  • Experience with HID credentials and SAFE visitor management software.
  • Experience with intelligent key systems (CAW / CLIQ Application).
  • Experience managing lists, libraries, and workflows in SharePoint.
  • Strong organizational skills, technical troubleshooting abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Basic experience and understanding of security systems (access control, video management, intrusion detection).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders, document findings and provide training.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to obtain the following within the first 24 months, post hire: ASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP), Genetec Certification.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Will consider relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead ongoing projects, to include system configuration, user training, and troubleshooting.
  • Utilize Genetec to manage access control systems. Tasks include creating and managing cardholder groups, defining access rules, and setting up gate/door schedules.
  • Administer the CAW process by programming and activating keys; updating locks, maintaining access lists, and managing the key removal process for exiting employees or contractors.
  • Operate the CLIQ application to process electronic keys, cylinders/cores, locks, and Personnel Devices (PDs).
  • Generate and analyze background access reports for critical spaces to ensure compliance with company and security standards.
  • Provide ongoing support for SharePoint-based applications. Maintain and troubleshoot workflows that support online Security Request Forms, CAW key requests, and CLIQ key requests.
